Instructions for use of DA Barista cups

-
Objective:
Ensure the proper handling, storage, and transport of paper cups to maintain their integrity and quality when used in vending machines.
-
Handling During Transport:
- Check the packaging: Paper cups must be transported in their original packaging, well-sealed and protected from moisture.
- Stacking: When loading into transport vehicles, avoid excessive stacking to prevent deformation. Do not exceed 1.5 meters in stacking height in vans.
- Gentle handling: Handle the boxes with care to avoid shocks or pressure that could damage or alter the shape of the cups.
- Avoid impacts: Do not allow boxes to be dropped or crushed during transport.
-
Transport Conditions:
- Controlled temperature: Paper cups should be transported at a temperature between 10°C and 25°C to prevent material degradation.
- Controlled humidity: Ensure the boxes are kept dry and not exposed to water or humid environments. Excessive humidity may weaken the cups and affect their quality.
- Stability during transport: Boxes should be secured in the vehicle to avoid movement that may cause damage.
-
Storage of Cups:
- Dry storage: Cups should be stored in dry areas with humidity levels below 65%.
- Room temperature: Store cups in an environment between 15°C and 25°C. Avoid extreme temperatures that could affect the quality of the material.
- Moderate stacking: Do not stack more than three layers of boxes to avoid deforming the cups in the bottom boxes.
- Vertical storage: Always store cups upright and never horizontally—so that the inside of the cup is visible.
- Keep away from moisture sources: Store boxes on pallets to avoid direct contact with the floor and potential sources of moisture.
- Avoid direct sunlight: Do not store paper cups in areas exposed to direct sunlight, as it could degrade their quality.
-
General Usage Guidelines:
- Regular inspection: Before placing into machines, visually inspect the cups to ensure they are not deformed or damaged.
- First In, First Out: Apply FIFO (First In, First Out) method to use the oldest stock first.
- Clean contact surfaces: Ensure that the surfaces where the cups come into contact with the machine are clean before use.
- Replace damaged cups: Do not use cups that are deformed or show signs of weakness.
